Get to Know Us
Alan Chandler started working on his first basement in 1968 while still in school. At that time the method for basement moisture problems was to simply coat the outside walls with black tar and place a plastic material on the exterior wall. At the base of the wall, on top of the footer, were 3 foot clay tiles, with pitched gravel on top and between the footer area. It was finally backfilled with dirt.​
